DNA sequencing refers to the methods used for determining the sequence of the nucleotide bases, adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine in a DNA molecule. The coming of DNA sequencing has provided a big help, to the development of biological research and discovery. Knowledge of DNA sequences of genes and other parts of other organisms has become a vital part of basic biological researches.
DNA paternity testing is conducted to establish whether a person is the biological father of a certain child. DNA testing laboratories compare the DNA sequence of an individual to that of another individual, and the result will show if the DNA is related or not. DNA paternity testing is usually requested by people who are separated from their child from a long time, to prove if the child is theirs or not.
